September Donation Drive
Throughout September and October, we will support Philadelphia's Welcome Church in its care for its unhoused and housing-insecure parishioners. The Welcome Church requests hats, scarves, gloves, hand warmers, socks, lip balm, and hand lotion, as well as $5 gift cards to Dunkin Donuts so that they can get a hot drink. Donations can be dropped off at St. John's after worship or in the church office during the week.
Pub Theology will be held on Thursday,
September 24th at 5:00pm at the Attic Brewing Company in Philadelphia.
Carpool will leave the church at 4:30pm.

New Generation Fund Drive
During 2026 we are collecting donations towards the ELCA Program Good Gifts. Thank you to everyone who donated in the first half of the year! We exceeded our goal and were able to buy a herd of goats and fruit tree farm, as well as provide nutrition for a child for a year. For the second half of the year, we are focusing on raising funds to support children's education and health. With this money, we hope to fund vaccinations for 5 children, and the rest will be used to buy uniforms for girls to go to school and provide school supplies for those in need.
